About the project:
A series of photographs taken during the filming of the documentary project “Planks and Emptiness” about the world’s first skateboarding crossing of Mongolia. For a month and a half, the athletes traveled from the country’s capital, Ulaanbaatar, to the Russian border. These photographs capture fleeting impressions of the vast steppes and the lack of privacy in the world’s most sparsely populated country.
