The roadside
(2020-2021)

After moving to a close but completely unfamiliar country I began the process of acclimatization like any other person. A week, two, a month — adaptation seemed to have passed into a permanent stage. Physical discomfort was replaced by a psychological, and the goal of getting used to process of getting used became the only one goal.

After a few months the goal was achieved and the feeling of alienation stoped bothering me. It just traveled with me along the sides of roads that no one needed for. The roads led to useless places and it seemed that harmony finally appeared at that moment. A long time ago forgotten sense of inner comfort in a long time ago forgotten uncomfortable places.

The roadside has become a second home. The roadside has become an effective mean of therapy The roadside that helped to expose internal problems and fears. And now it’s calling me again and it’s time for me to go.
