Film projects about skateboarding
From 2016 to the present, I have been actively involved in organizing filming as an author of ideas, producer, protagonist and designer.
Belokurihaniya. Downhill
2017.
A wonderful place has appeared in Siberia — the Belokurikha-2 subcluster. There are no facilities yet, but the road to them has already been built: a 7.7 km long serpentine with a 480 m elevation difference.
In the summer of 2016, the Basic Longboards team visited this place three times. Each trip is about three thousand kilometers by car. Every day we woke up and went to the spot. Each time, the road greeted us differently: the wind in our faces, then in our backs, heat and swelter, fog, wet asphalt and pouring rain. A place with its own individual energy and Siberian spirit.
Serious men — customers and contractors of the road construction — also came to meet us. They were very happy that their work was not in vain and that not only tourists, but also athletes appreciated the serpentine.
It was an unforgettable adventure, filled with challenges, fun and, of course, skateboarding down the mountain! First and foremost, our film is about skateboarding and people who love what they do.

Altairide — Downhill Expedition
2018.
The documentary film about how the Basic Longboards team conquered the spots of the Altai Mountains in May 2017. You will see enchanting nature, colorful representatives of the local fauna, and, of course, a huge number of mountains and roads.
Riding downhill on a longboard in harsh weather conditions and beautiful places, downhill skateboarding as a phenomenon that moves people. All this, complete with technically complex filming, will give you a lot of visual pleasure.
Our expedition took 14 days. Key points of the route: Krasnoyarsk — Belokurikha — Kurai — Ongudai — Novokuznetsk — Krasnoyarsk.
Length — 4,500 kilometers.
Lawlessness in Abaza. Following the Fire
2019.
The most important thing is to go down the mountain on a board. But what is all this for? For self-affirmation, adrenaline, a sense of fear and a thirst for adventure? No! Just a board, a road and your friends! Adventure action from the Basic longboards team.
The action takes place in the city of Abaza. Two busy serpentines with terrible asphalt, wild nature, the mysteries of local spirits through the prism of downhill skateboarding. There are always roads in your native land suitable for riding, although these places cannot be called safe.
Yenisei Marathon
2022.
Two friends set off on a dangerous journey across Siberia — on skateboards. An inspiring doc about daredevils with tents who decided to take an unusual route and test themselves.
Artem Vladimirov and Sergey Bastrykin are originally from Krasnoyarsk. They had long been burning with the idea of going on a crazy expedition across the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tuva, which no one had ever dared to do before. The friends collected the necessary things for the trip and went across the harsh Siberia on longboards. In a month, the guys covered more than 1000 kilometers. The extreme sportsmen spent the night in tents, fought fatigue, heat and pouring rain. They challenged themselves and the rich nature of Siberia. As a reward, they were rewarded with amazingly beautiful landscapes and a new experience, confirming that big dreamers with a strong spirit can handle any difficulties.
How did two comrades manage to cover such a distance?
The Way to the Arctic Circle
2024.
Without the Internet, communication and GPS, two men set off to the Arctic Circle on skateboards! We present to you a project that has no analogues in Russia — “The Way to the Arctic Circle”!
Since 2016, the guys have been filming documentaries about various manifestations of skateboarding. For them, skating is a hobby, a job, and a spiritual search for themselves.
This summer, Artem and Sergey decided to go on the most difficult journey of their lives — to the Arctic Circle! To feel and live every centimeter of the “Kola” track, in addition to the main attractions, to see something more and go where not everyone goes.
Having covered a thousand kilometers, they were the first in the world to cross the Arctic Circle on skateboards! The long and grueling test under the sun of the polar day took a whole month.
