About the project:
A series of photographs taken during the filming of the documentary project “Boards and Emptiness” about the world’s first crossing of Mongolia on skateboards. For a month and a half, the athletes moved from the country’s capital, Ulaanbaatar, to the border with Russia. These photographs capture fragmentary impressions of the vast steppes and the lack of privacy in the most sparsely populated country on Earth.
