The Way to the Arctic #3  

About the project:
A series of photographs born during the filming of the documentary series “The Way to the Arctic”. Athletes traveled a thousand kilometers on boards from Petrozavodsk to the city of Zapolyarny in the Murmansk region and were the first in the world to cross the Arctic Circle on skateboards. The picture was taken in the village of Liinakhamari. Among the Arctic landscape, you can see part of a concrete circle, which is an artillery position for large-caliber naval guns dismantled from the Austro-Hungarian dreadnought “Prince Eugene”. Positions were not completed.
